Worldmeetings joins as a friend of the Red Cross

Worldmeetings from today officially became "Friend of the Red Cross". As part of our social commitment, we now support the Food Emergency Relief in the Netherlands project. This partnership ties in with one of Worldmeetings' new 2024 objectives: to contribute to fighting unacceptable situations in the Netherlands.

In our culture where we strive for "No worries. So taken care of", there are unfortunately still people who cannot meet basic needs like a loaf of bread before going to school. This situation is uncharted territory for us, but deserves more attention. This is why we feel called to make a difference here.

With our annual donation, we support the Food Emergency Assistance in the Netherlands project, which helps vulnerable groups with:

• Providing 428 people with a grocery card that allows them to buy a variety of hot meals for 7 days.
• Providing 750 children with a breakfast bag that provides them with a healthy and varied breakfast for 7 days.

Together with other SMEs, we are committed to making a direct impact on the lives of these people, supporting them with what they desperately need.

With this partnership, we hope to contribute to a healthier and more carefree Netherlands, where basic needs are within reach for everyone.
