Old Amelisweerd country house

Landhuis Oud Amelisweerd is among the most exceptional national monuments in the Netherlands and is located in the heart of estates Amelisweerd and Rhijnauwen, a stone's throw from Utrecht. Because the house has never been intensively inhabited, many original elements have been preserved. A famous example is the unique hand-painted Chinese paper wallpaper from the 18th century. Today, you can visit exhibitions on art, science and history. The attic can be rented for institutions and companies. Here, you can combine a meeting, training or workshop with a visit to the museum or a walk through the estate.
