'The Anna of Hanover'
Until July 2015, the striking building at 4 Anno Hannoverstraat housed the Ministry of Social Affairs and Employment.
It was designed as the last building from architect Herman Hertzberger's pure "structuralist period". The central government divested the building and it now offers office space to various companies and is home to the Catering Academy. In addition, the location is extremely suitable for events, meetings and flexi-working spaces.
Located on the ground floor is Brasserie Southwood, a very refreshing place for breakfast, lunch or drinks and everything in between. Enjoy healthy dishes (soups, salads, sandwiches and grilled sandwiches) in the sun on the terrace or inside, which you can put together yourself. Brasserie Southwood's products are carefully selected on, for example, sustainability, innovation and 'healthy living'. For example, we do offer treats with coffee but these are then prepared without much added sugar
