Both the old post office and the adjacent old Gratama bank house the hotel rooms. Both buildings are monumental and connected by a glass walkway.
Every detail has been thought about, from bedside lamp, pillow, socket to television. In the hotel rooms, the best bed, a fantastic rain shower and Wifi. We think that's the most important thing! No 1 room is the same. This is mainly because the rooms have been realised in 2 monumental buildings. This ensures that spending the night in Post-Plaza is always a surprise, even if you've already been once. All rooms are non-smoking.
You can enjoy both breakfast, lunch and dinner at Post-Plaza's Grand Cafe. It is open daily from 07:00 to 00:00 and will serve the most delicious authentic dishes and drinks. Wesley, our coffee specialist, roasts his own coffee beans here and in the evenings, the bartender or woman here makes the most surprising cocktails.
Located in a quiet street, Post-Plaza Hotel & Grand Cafe is a 2-minute walk from the city centre. The old Blokhuispoort prison is an extension of the Tweebaksmarkt on which Post-Plaza is located. A stone's throw away you will find the Fries Museum and the Ceramics Museum. The railway station is only 900 metres away from the hotel, the nearest bus stop is Blokhuisplein and is a 300-metre walk away. Parking garage Hoeksterend or parking garage Zaailand is 800 metres away from Post-Plaza.
